Hello everyone!
I am happy to share my personal project that I have spent most of the evening during the last couple of weeks 🙂
During the development, my goal was to make the whole environment in Unreal Engine 5 hand-made from the scratch (characters are made by Big Medium Small) together with the help of a procedural approach with Houdini and Substance Designer going back a little to the old-school approach ^^
The project was heavily inspired by several fascinating and gorgeous games including Returnal, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Death Stranding.
A huge thanks to Thibault Lambert and the rest involved in the VDB plugin for Unreal 5. It makes it so much more fun to generate volumetric fog, clouds, and smoke and import it directly to the engine!
